Refurbishment of a buy-to-let property in South West England

The Project

A Plymouth based property developer needed help funding the purchase and refurbishment of a buy-to-let property in Plymouth city centre consisting of a basement flat and a maisonette flat.

The Approach

Seneca provided £243,000 to aid the purchase (£395,000) and an additional £70,000 to be released in stages to fully fund the refurbishment costs.

The Outcome

Credit approval was provided within 48 hours of the application being received with completion taking less than 8 weeks. Factoring in the “Christmas break” this was another seamless process which left all parties satisfied.
